Villa in Livadia
The village of Livadia is a large community found on the north side of Larnaka city (15 minutes away). Archaeological research in the area has discovered findings belonging to different historic periods. The village took its name from the Greek word for fields (Livadia) due to the flat area of grassland with running waters and rich pasture.
Livadia is the only place on the island where ‘psatharkes’ (traditionally used for roofing) are made. Although there is no longer an abundance of women still practising the craft, the municipality is ensuring its preservation with the creation of an interesting Basketry Museum, whilst the craft is also included on the UNESCO Intangible World Heritage List.
These double-storey detached houses are only a short distance from the sea and a 5-minute drive to the famous Palm tree avenue called FINIKOUDES.
They consist of a modern open plan designed kitchen, living and dining area which is ideal for entertaining your family and guests. There is a guest WC on the ground floor for convenience.
The three comfortably sized bedrooms are located on the first floor. The master bedroom includes an en-suite shower room, and to complete the first floor is the spacious family bathroom.
On this generous plot, there is a pool included in the outdoor area, which facilitates a garden that creates an alfresco situation of relaxation. This leads you to the covered parking bay.
